Authorities are looking for a suspect following a collectibles theft at an east Wichita business.

It happened at Friendly Oil Field Products, 5421 E. Kellogg, around 2 p.m. May 28.

Police said a man approached an employee from behind, saying, "Don't turn around or you're dead." He then tied up the employee in a back room.

The suspect got away with a large amount of silver collectible spoons and miscellaneous collectible coins. The loss is valued at more than $4,500 dollars.

Anyone with information about the fire is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 267-2111. An anonymous tip can also be submitted via text message, by texting TIP217, then your message to CRIMES (274637). All ways are secure and anonymous. If your tip leads to an arrest you may be eligible for a cash reward up to $1,000, and Crime Stoppers will never ask your name.
