A Wichita man was shot by three teens last month after refusing to give them his car keys. Now, police are hoping a KAKE viewer can help them solve the case.

At about 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, three teens approached a man in front of his home in the 5400 block of East Harry and demanded that he give them his car keys. When he refused one of them pulled out a handgun and shot the victim in the arm.

The three ran away. The victim was treated and released.

The suspects are described as black male teenagers. The shooter is 5-foot-4 with a medium build. He was wearing light blue athletic shorts and a white T-shirt. The second suspect is 5 feet tall with a small build. He was wearing blue jeans and a black shirt. The third is 5-foot-10 with a slender build. He was wearing black pants and a black shirt.
