Wichita police are searching for the thieves behind a restaurant robbery in southwest Wichita.

On Thursday, Dec. 27, two men entered the Subway at 2424 South West Street and placed an order. When another customer entered the store, one man pulled out a black handgun and demanded money from both the customer and the employee at the register. The suspects fled in a black Pontiac G6.

The man with the gun is described as a white male in his 20s, 6-foot-2 to 6-foot-4 and about 220 pounds. He was wearing a black beanie, blue jeans and a black cotton zip-up jacket.

The other man, also white, is 20 to 25 years old, 5-foot-7, dark hair and average to small build. He was wearing a black zip-up hoodie and blue jeans.
