Crime Stoppers - Car Break-Ins In Northwest Wichita

The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to solve several car burglaries and slow crime at three specific locations. The Sedgwick County Zoo, Sedgwick County Park, and West Urban have had several vehicle break-ins over the past two months.

The suspect(s) force entry to the vehicle and quickly take valuables that are visible. Loss and damages have totaled several thousand dollars.

The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office would ask that the public report any suspicious people and not leave any valuables in there vehicle while at these locations.

If you have information about these break ins or any felony crime, call Crime Stoppers at 267-2111. You can also submit a tip online at www.wsccs.com or from your mobile phone by texting TIP217 then your message to CRIMES (274637). All ways are secure and anonymous.

If your tip leads to an arrest you may be eligible for a cash reward up to $1,000, and Crime Stoppers will never ask your name. Crime Stoppers of Wichita/Sedgwick County is a non-profit organization of citizens against crime.
