The board of directors of Crime Stoppers of Wichita/Sedgwick County has approved payment of a $1,000 reward to the person who provided an anonymous tip that led to the arrest and charging of a third suspect in the murder of two people in the 600 block of N. Chautauqua on November 25th.
“This is an excellent example of how Crime Stoppers pays the maximum amount for anonymous tips that lead to an arrest in significant cases,” said Crime Stoppers Board President Jim Todd. “In the case of this double homicide, the Crime Stoppers board felt it was important to pay the maximum reward to the individual who provided the anonymous tip that helped Wichita Police arrest the third suspect in this murder case.”
Crime Stoppers pays up to $1,000 for tips that lead to an arrest in a crime. Crime Stoppers will never ask a person’s name when they provide a tip about a crime or criminal activity.
