Police say a man showed up at a Wichita hospital after being stabbed in the eye by his girlfriend Friday afternoon.
It happened just before 5 p.m. Friday in the 3100 block of East Ethel Street in north Wichita.
Sgt. Bart Brunscheen says the couple was having an argument when the girlfriend stabbed the victim in the right eye with a knife.
The 25-year-old man was taken by private vehicle to a nearby hospital. His current condition is unknown.
Police are currently searching for the victim's 25-year-old girlfriend. A description was not provided.
