Wichita Police are investigating the second homicide in a matter of hours, after a man was found shot to death in a home overnight.

Friends told police they had been trying to get in touch with the victim since New Year's Eve. They went to his home in the 700 block of South Rutan around 2 a.m. Thursday morning, and saw him through a window not moving. They called police.

Officers entered the home and found a 29-year-old man dead from a gunshot wound to the head.

They so far have no leads or suspects in the case, but are looking for the victim's 2003 silver Cadillac Seville with a 60-day tag of A154298.

Anyone with information on this murder investigation is asked to call police.

The victim's identity has not yet been released.
