A 60-year-old man has been arrested accused of child sex crimes.
Officers arrested the man after two children came forward with the allegations. Police said an 11-year-old boy told him mom Monday night that the suspect had touched him inappropriately.
Through the initial investigation, authorities learned another child, a 10-year-old boy, may also be a victim.
Police said the crimes occurred at the suspect’s home on east Whitney. It is unclear when the alleged crimes began, and how many assaults may have occurred. They said the suspect is a family friend.
The suspect has been booked into the Sedgwick County jail on two counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child.
The case remains under investigation.
