Before you head out the door, we like to catch you up with what happened while you were sleeping.
Police took two people into custody for questioning early Friday morning after someone reported a residential robbery in northeast Wichita.
Officers were sent to the 900 block of North Harding, just east of 9th and Oliver, about 4:30 a.m. It was not immediately clear whether the people being questioned were suspects or victims in the case. Nobody was hurt.
Earlier in the morning, police were sent to check on several reports of a drive-by shooting. The calls came from a neighborhood near Murdock and Oliver. Officers investigating the calls found no evidence that a shooting had occurred.
