Before you head out the door, we like to catch you up with what happened while you were sleeping.
For the most part, things remained relatively quiet in and near Wichita Wednesday night and Thursday morning, without much in the way of any emergency traffic to wake residents up.
Sedgwick County emergency dispatchers tell KAKE News Wichita Police were called to the report of an assault just south of 21st and Grove about 12:20 a.m. Nobody had any serious injuries.
Police are also investigating a residential robbery in west Wichita. that happened about 3:20 a.m. in the 800 block of North West Street. The suspects were apparently armed with a knife and a crowbar, but no injuries were reported.
