A Topeka man has pleaded guilty to killing a liquor store clerk on Christmas Eve.
Matthew Myers, 45, was accused of shooting and beating a Hudson Liquor employee to death during a robbery Dec. 24. Myers said he beat Matthew Hill over the head with a crowbar, then shot Hill twice in the head.
The crime was captured on the store surveillance camera.
Prosecutors charged Myers with one count of discharging a firearm in a crime of violence.
Sentencing is set for Nov. 26. Myers is expected to serve a 33 year sentence.
