Two teenagers were hospitalized after they were hurt in a shootout between two vehicles. Police were called to area of Pawnee and Palisade in southwest Wichita just after 12:30 a.m. Sunday after someone reported the shooting.
Police say two boys who were in one of the vehicles, a 16-year-old and 17-year-old, were taken to a nearby hospital with gunshot wounds. Their injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
Investigators also found a house in the 400 block of West Blake had been hit by stray bullets. No other injuries were reported.
The incident is under investigation.
