A Heights High School student was taken into custody Friday after he brought a gun to school.
Susan Arensman tells KAKE News that the teen was stopped in the administrative office. He was detained by the administration and the school resource officer and taken into custody by Wichita Police.
Police spokesman Lt. Doug Nolte tells KAKE News that more information will be available Saturday afternoon following the regularly scheduled police briefing.
