A shotgun was among the items taken during a home robbery early Friday morning.
Police say two men forced their way into a home in the 2100 block of East 51st Street South around 4 a.m.
Once inside, one of the suspects pointed a handgun at the homeowner while the other began taking items. The two demanded guns and pills, and ended up getting away with a shotgun, computer-related items and various paperwork.
Four people were inside the residence at the time of the robbery including a 10-year-old girl. The other three were adults. No one was injured and police are still searching for the suspects.
