Salina Man Sentenced For Dealing Meth

A Salina man who admitted receiving more than 3 pounds of methamphetamine for street distribution has been sentenced to 81 months in federal prison.

Jamey Allen Holub, 26 pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine. In his plea, Holub admitted he bought methamphetamine from co-defendant Kevin Dale Ashcraft for distribution in the Salina area. Wiretapped phone calls revealed that the two talked regularly, arranging for the flow of drugs and money for their illegal business.

Ashcraft, is scheduled for sentencing Sept. 28. He pleaded guilty to two counts of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine.

Co-defendant Lisandro Clara-Fernandez, will also be sentenced Sept. 28. He pleaded guilty to two counts of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine.

Another defendant, Dennis Augustine, is awaiting sentencing after he was convicted on two counts of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine.
