The suspect in a Wednesday evening shooting east of Hutchinson is in custody, Reno County Sheriff Randy Henderson said.
Barbara Youngblood was taken into custody shortly before 11 p.m. on the east side of Hutchinson, according to a news release from Henderson.
The sheriff's office was looking for Youngblood in connection with a shooting about 7:30 p.m., which sent a man to a Wichita hospital. Henderson said the victim was flown to Wichita from the scene of the shooting in the 300 block of North Kent Road, but his injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.

Reno County Sheriff Randy Henderson tells KAKE News that they have identified a suspect in the shooting of a man Wednesday evening east of Hutchinson.
Sheriff Henderson is asking for the public's help in locating 47 year-old Barbara Youngblood. She is 5'9" and weighs around 200 pounds. She is travelling by an unknown means of transportation and could be armed with a 9mm pistol.
Anyone who may spot Youngblood is asked contact 911 or the Reno County Sheriff's Office.

The Reno County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a man was shot east of Hutchinson Wednesday evening.
It happened in the 300 block of North Kent Road around 7:30 p.m. Sheriff Randy Henderson says in a news release that the unidentified victim was taken by Lifeteam helicopter to a Wichita hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Deputies are searching for a woman in connection to the shooting. Sheriff Henderson says it is too soon into the investigation to release further information.
Hutchinson Police are assisting in the investigation.
