Investigators are looking for a vehicle that struck and killed a 21-year-old northeast Kansas man on a highway about two miles east of Manhattan.
The Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Office says witnesses saw a white, smaller SUV crossover or large sedan run over the man around midnight Saturday and continue without stopping.
The Sheriff's Office says the victim, from Manhattan, Kan., was wearing dark clothes and in an unlit area, so it's possible the car's driver didn't know someone had been struck.
Investigators are reviewing surveillance tapes of traffic in the area at the time.
The name of the victim hasn't been released.
