Wichita police arrest a man after a woman is found dead inside a car behind a south Wichita business.

Officers arrested Tyrone Walker, 45, on first degree murder charges Friday. He was wanted in connection with Janice Sander's death.

A witness called 911 to report a naked body inside a car in the 1100 block of South Washington June 4.

Investigators said the 44-year-old woman may have died from blunt force trauma.

"We believe the two were acquaintances," said Lt. Ken Landwehr, Wichita police department. "We have been actively looking for this individual for about a week and a half."

Authorities are not looking for any more suspects. The case will be presented to the district attorney's office later this week.
