Police are looking for the man who robbed a Wichita fast food restaurantt wearing a wig Monday night.

It happened at about 7:30 p.m. last night at Burger King, located in the 500 block of North Oliver.

Wichita Police say a suspect entered the restaurant, jumped the counter and pulled out a box cutter. He then demanded that one of the employees empty the cash into a bag he brought with him.

A customer waiting at the drive-thru saw what was going on inside the store and called 911. No one was injured.

Officers are looking for a black man in his 40s or 50 wearing a red or brown wig underneath a black hat. He was also wearing a black jacket with gold stripes and the number 24 on the back.

He left the store in a gold four-door car with a Kansas tag, believed to be 584 EDD.
