Man In ICU With Skull Fracture After Being Hit With Hammer

A 36-year-old man is being treated for a skull fracture after being hit with a hammer.

Police say the man got into a fight during a party at a home in the 1800 block of South Hiram around 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

The victim didn't go to a Wichita hospital until the following morning on Thursday, where doctors discovered he had a skull fracture. He's currently being treated in the ICU.

Officers spoke to several people, and have since arrested a 39-year-old man.
