Police were forced to use a taser on a man who had been dancing on Kellogg and holding up traffic Sunday night.
Around 6:40 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to the 7800 block of East Kellogg near Rock Road in east Wichita. Drivers told dispatchers that a man was dancing on Kellogg and that cars were having trouble getting around him.
When officers arrived, the man began to run away. Officers eventually caught up with him, but tased him before they could take him into custody.
He was taken from the scene to an area hospital to undergo a mental evaluation. Police also recovered marijuana.
No word on what charges the man could be facing. His identity has not been released.
