The owner of a duplex was tied up and robbed by two people posing as interested renters yesterday.
On Monday, a woman called the owner of a duplex saying she was interested in renting and wanted to see the property.
The 42-year-old landlord met a man and woman at the property, located in the 500 block of South Edwards, shortly after 5 p.m.
Once inside, police say the man pulled out a handgun and demanded the owner's money and cell phone. After they took his property, they tied his hands with zip ties and left in a small blue SUV.
The first suspect is described as a white man in his late 20s, about 6 feet tall and weighed about 170 pounds. He was wearing a blue jacket and jeans.
The second was a woman, also in her late 20s, about 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing approximately 130 pounds. The victim told police she had a scar on her bottom lip.
The property owner was not injured, and no arrests have been made.
