Wichita police are investigating the possible child abuse of a three-month-old girl.
Police say the parents of the girl took their child to St. Francis Sunday night, where doctors determined she had a broken femur. Police were notified.
Lt. Jeff Weible of the Wichita Exploited and Missing Children's Unit tells KAKE News the injury "is an abusive type."
The baby is now in police protective custody. Police say they are still investigating the case and no arrests have been made.
