Former Salina Man Sentenced To Prison For Rape

A former Salina man will spend the 26 years behind bars after being convicted of rape and other sex crimes.
Tuesday, a Saline County judge sentenced 32-year-old Jeffrey Shawn Casey of Norman, Oklahoma to 312 months in prison.
Casey was arrested in 2010 for crimes he committed while living in Salina in 2005.
In August, a jury found Casey guilty of one count of rape, three counts of aggravated criminal sodomy, one count of attempted criminal sodomy, one count of attempted rape and one count of aggravated sexual battery.
No other details about the case were released.
