Police are searching for four people who robbed a southeast Wichita restaurant in broad daylight. It happened just after 1:30 p.m. Friday at Po Boy Pizza in the 5600 block of East Lincoln Street.

Officials say two women and two men in their teens or early 20s entered the store and approached the 73-year-old man who was working the counter. One of the women threatened the man with a handgun and demanded money from the register.

The clerk removed the money and one of the men took it from him. All four robbers then left the store and were last seen heading southbound in the neighborhood in a dark greek 1990s model Saturn.

Police are looking for four people with the following descriptions: a black woman in her teens with a light complexion, 5-foot-5 and weighing 115 pounds who was carrying a black handgun; a black man in his teens with a light complexion, 5-foot-9 and weighing 165 pounds; a black man with a dark complexion in his 20s, 5-foot-10 and weighing 185 pounds; and a black woman with a dark complexion in her 20s, 6-foot and weighing 200 pounds.

Anyone with information about the robbery or the suspects is asked to call the police.
