Sedgwick County Sheriff's Deputies have arrested a suspect after a large amount of gang graffiti appeared in Oaklawn this week.

The graffiti was discovered Wednesday near 47th Street South and Cedardale. Damage to property in the area is estimated at $6,800.

The sheriff's office says detectives and deputies were able to identify several suspects and a juvenile who is a registered gang member was arrested Thursday. Deputies say that they plan to make several more arrests in the case.
