Wichita Police assisted the Saline County Sheriff's Office in arresting a man being sought for assisting Antonio Brown after he escaped from the Saline County Jail last week.
Thirty year-old Joshua Danny Brown was taken into custody shortly after 11 a.m. Monday in Wichita. He has been transported to the Salina where he was booked into the jail on obstructing apprehension or prosecution, which is a felony.
He is the second person arrested on accusations of helping Antonio Brown escape. Last Thursday, 28 year-old Eric Lee Terry was arrested on the same charges.
Terry was arrested a day after Antonio Brown surrendered to Marshals in Wichita. Last month, Brown pleaded no contest to first-degree murder in the 2011 beating death of 14-month-old Clayden Lee Urbanek.
Brown was being held in Mitchell County, but was brought back to the Saline County Jail Monday on the eve of his sentencing. He escaped shortly after he arrived when a door was mistakenly left open.
