Reno County authorities have arrested a fifth person in connection to a robbery and assault case last week.
Detectives booked Joseph Russell Thursday for aggravated robbery, aggravated battery, criminal threat, burglary to a vehicle, felony theft and misdemeanor criminal damage to property.
Russell was wanted after a man said he was robbed and beaten with a pipe in the 1700 block of N. Wilson road a week ago. An update on the victim's condition has not been released.
A Reno County judge set Russell's bond at $35,750.

Four people have been arrested in connection to a robbery and assault in Hutchinson last week.
It happened in the 1700 block of N. Wilson road Friday. The victim walked to a nearby fire station at 11th and Hendricks to report he had been robbed and beaten with a pipe. He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
After speaking with the victim, officers executed a search warrant at a home in the 1700 block of N. Wilson Rd. Sunday. The Reno County Sheriff's department said authorities found stolen items inside the home.
Officials arrested Jeffery Yeakel and Sara Mcallaster as a result of the search warrant. The sheriff's department also arrested Erik Pettay and Michael Deshazo, who were at the home, on outstanding warrants.
Jeffery Yeakel was arrested for aggravated robbery, aggravated battery, criminal threat, burglary to a vehicle, felony theft and misdemeanor criminal damage to property. His bond is $46,250.00
Sara Mcallaster was arrested for possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia. Her bond is $10,500.00. She also has a hold on her from Rice Co. The bond for the Rice Co. arrest is $25,000.00
Erik Pettay was arrested on a failure to appear warrant through the Hutchinson Police Dept., bond $200.00 and an indirect contempt of court warrant through the South Hutchinson Police Dept., bond $500.00
Michael Deshazo was arrested for a probation violation through the Reno Co. Sheriff's Office, bond $10,000.00 and a failure to appear warrant through the Hutchinson Police Dept., bond $1,000.00.
