Douglas County authorities said the death of an 8-year-old girl is a case of accidental drowning.
Sheriff's deputies were called to the home near Baldwin shortly before 10:00 p.m. Thursday.
Brittney Nichole Kennon was found unconscious in a bathroom. A neighbor and emergency medical workers performed CPR but couldn't revive her.
Kennon, who had a history of health problems, lived with her grandparents.
