A woman is dead after a crash late this morning in Reno County.

The crash happened just before noon at 4th and Herren Road in Reno County. That's a few miles west of Hutchinson.

According to the Reno County Sheriff's Department, the driver of a Chevrolet pickup heading northbound on Herren Road failed to stop at a stop sign and hit a Toyota sedan that was westbound on 4th.

The driver of the Toyota, 18-year-old Anja Miller of Partridge, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Twenty-year-old Troy Nisly of Hutchinson was driving the pickup, and was taken to an area hospital for treatment. His current condition is unknown.

The sheriff's department is investigating the accident. When completed, those findings will be turned over to the Reno County district attorney's office.
