Two Killed After Car Collides With Train In Northern Kansas

Two Nebraska residents died after their car collided with a train in northern Kansas. It happened around 10:30 Saturday morning, one mile north of Webber on Farm Entrance Drive in Jewell County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol says a car was exiting Farm Entrance Drive, attempted to cross the tracks and was struck by a train on its passenger side.

The driver of the car, Tracy Cole, 43, of Lincoln, Nebraska, was taken to a hospital where she later died.

The passenger in the car, Bradley Cusatis, 22, of Beatrice, Nebraska, died at the scene.

No one on board the train was injured.

The accident is still under investigation.
