A Texas man was hospitalized after crashing into a parked truck on I-70 in Saline County.

According to KSAL NewsRadio in Salina, the accident happened around 3:30 a.m. Friday on I-70 near Muir Road.

A Chevy Astro Van driven by 38-year-old Adrian Leon-Reyes of Irving, Texas was eastbound when it drifted off the road and hit a disabled GMC Jimmy that was parked on the shoulder.

Leon-Reyes was taken to an area hospital with a head injury. No one was in the GMC.

Deputies are investigating if alcohol was involved in the crash.
