A Salina woman was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident Saturday afternoon.
It happened around 1:10 p.m. on K-4 in Dickinson County. The Kansas Highway Patrol says 49 year-old Beth Bartell was riding her motorcycle eastbound on K-4, just over a mile east of Carlton when she failed to negotiate a curve.
Troopers say Bartell lost control as her bike began to wobble. She went into the north ditch and then clipped a power pole.
Bartell was transported to Salina Regional Health Center for treatment. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
