UPDATE: Police Investigate Shot Fired Inside Hutchinson Home

A situation in Hutchinson is over after the report of shots fired Sunday.

It began when someone entered a convenience store near East 17th and Plum and reported they had been shot at. Police Reno County Sheriff's deputies arrived and set up a perimeter between Plum and Elm Street along 17th.

They searched a home in the area and located a bullet hole. Police have cleared the scene. No one was hurt.

Authorities are still investigating the incident and no other details have been released.

Authorities in Hutchinson blocked off a stretch of road after the report of shots fired late Sunday morning.

Police were called to a residence in the 400 block of East 17th Street around 11:45 a.m. after neighbors reported hearing gunshots. Officers had 17th Street blocked off between Elm and Plum streets.

No injuries have been reported, according to Hutchinson police.

It is not yet known if any arrests have been made.
