Police in Shawnee County are investigating after a person was killed Saturday morning in a one-car crash southwest of Topeka.
The crash was reported around 9 a.m. in the 7500 Block of SW Valencia Road in Auburn.
WIBW reports that a man who lives on the land told police he heard something overnight, but couldn’t see anything when he went to check. When he woke up Saturday morning, he saw the car in the tree line.
Authorities are continuing their investigation. No other information has been released.
