KCK Firefighters Find Body In Burning Home

Kansas City, Kansas, firefighters have found a body inside a burning home.

The Kansas City Star reports that fire crews were called to a house fire Wednesday morning. When they arrived they reported heavy smoke coming from the single-story home.

Firefighters went into the home when they were told that a person was inside. They then reported finding the body a few minutes later in a rear bedroom.

Crews extinguished the blaze in about 10 minutes.
