The Hutchinson Police Department is asking for public help in its investigation of an October crash that killed a man and injured two others.

Police want to talk with Marlon Brown and ask anybody who knows his whereabouts to call them at 620-694-2833. Brown was one of the occupants in a car that rolled several times near First Avenue and Hendricks Oct. 26.

Courtney Morgan, 37, was killed in the crash.

At the time of the accident, police said an officer saw a Kia SUV driving west on First Avenue at a high rate of speed. That officer turned around in an attempt to catch up with the vehicle and pull it over, but was unable find the vehicle.

Soon after, emergency dispatchers received the report of an injury accident at Hendricks and First Avenue.

When emergency crews arrived at the scene of the crash, they discovered the SUV the officer saw earlier had failed to negotiate a curve, hit a short concrete structure and rolled several times before coming to rest in a field.

All three people in the vehicle where thrown out during the crash, police said.
