A Hutchinson man accused of murdering an Illinois man last week has been officially charged.
Michael Briscoe was charged Wednesday with murder in Reno County District Court for the September 9 shooting death of Sem Adrien.
Briscoe is also facing drug charges, criminal possession of a firearm and intimidation of a witness. His bond has been increased to $700,000.

Police have arrested a Hutchinson man in connection to Monday night's fatal shooting.
Officers were called to the area of 8th and Plum around 11:30 p.m. Monday. When they arrived, they found a man had been shot. He was transported to an area hospital where he later died.
That victim has been identified as 26-year-old Sem Adrien of Evanston, Illinois.
Hutchinson police arrested 35-year-old Michael Briscoe around 7:30 Wednesday evening on suspicion of first-degree murder.
Kansas State Fair General Manager Denny Stoecklien said Adrien worked on the fairgrounds helping to set up the grandstand stage. Adrien's work at the fairgrounds ended last week.
