Head-On Collision In McPherson County Leaves 1 Dead

One person was killed yesterday in a head-on collision in McPherson County.

The accident happened shortly after 5:00 p.m. Thursday on Mohawk Road, south of Marquette. The McPherson County Sheriff's office said a pickup truck and SUV collided at the top of a hill on a gravel road.

James Teeter, 44, of Windom, died in the crash. Two people in the pickup, Anthony Kleinschmidt, 24 of McPherson, and Christian Holler, 19, of Moundridge, were taken to McPherson Hospital for treatment.
