A 53-year-old Ulysses man was killed Tuesday after he feel from the roof of a feed mill, the Grant County Sheriff's Office said Thursday.
Emergency crews were called to the Centerfire Feedyard in southeastern Grant County about 3 p.m. Tuesday after an employee of the feed yard fell from feed mill roof. Grant County Undersheriff Chad Harmon identified the victim as Joaquin Ceniceros. He was taken to a Ulysses hospital where he was pronounced dead.
A preliminary investigation found Ceniceros was checking an ingredient bin above the feed mill roof. After checking the bin, Ceniceros walked across a skylight on the roof, fell through and landed on the floor inside the mill.
The Grant County Sheriff is still investigating the accident.
