Detectives Use Social Media To Set Up Prostitution Sting

With the help of social media, Reno County authorities arrested three woman on prostitution charges.

While watching some social media sites, detectives from the Reno County Sheriff's Office found information possibly related to area prostitution.

With that information, detectives set up and conducted a sting at an area motel on Thursday.

Deputies arrested a 30-year-old woman from Inman, a 23-year-old woman from Winfield and a 21-year-old woman from Wichita. Each is facing prostitution-related charges.

Investigators are not saying where the sting took place.
