WICHITA, Kan. - Spirit AeroSystems is offering some of its employees a voluntary retirement package.
Spirit spokesman Ken Evans confirmed a story broken by KAKE's media partner, the Wichita Business Journal.
"Spirit is offering a Voluntary Retirement Program to certain management and salaried employees in Wichita and Kinston [N.C.]," Evans wrote in a statement.
"We are pleased to be able to offer this program to certain long-term employees who are over 55 and have at least 10 years of service," Evans added. Evans says Spirit will share details directly with eligible employees.
