A London air company has secured a multi-million dollar order with Bombardier Learjet.
London Air Services ordered five Learjet 75 planes, valued at $65 million. LAS is currently flying five Learjet 45 XR aircraft, one Challenger 604 aircraft, two Challenger 605 jets and a Global 7000 business jet will be arriving in 2017.
Wynne Powell, LAS President and Chief Executive Officer, said the new jet will compliment the company’s existing fleet.
“The Learjet 75 jet is a perfect blend of high-technology features, modern cabin design and legendary Learjet aircraft performance that operators are striving for,” Powell said.
The Learjet 75 is expected to improve fuel efficiency by four-percent. The aircraft can fly up to 2,000 nautical miles, while carrying four passengers and crew members.
