Recruiters will be looking for workers to fill aviation jobs at a career fair in Wichita Tuesday.
The Wichita Engineering, Aerospace and Defense Career Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Hilton Wichita Airport Conference Center. The fair is open to people with United States citizenship and at least two years of related industry experience on top of degree (or comparable military background).
Some of the attending companies include BE Aerospace, Bombardier Learjet, Piper Aircraft, General Atomics, and Lockheed Martin. Organizers of the job fair say they are looking for people with a background in all disciplines of engineering, aircraft flight controls, database administration, and more. Engineers are especially in demand.
