A flight landed safely at Mid-Continent Airport after a fire on the plane was reported.

Emergency crews were called the airport at around 12:00 Saturday morning after receiving reports that a plane was on fire.

The Allegiant air flight landed safely at Gate B about 15 minutes after the call came in. No fire was discovered but there was smoke in the cockpit.

The investigation still continues as to what sparked the air scare.

The flight had 180 passengers on board. No one was hurt.
