Vilsack is scheduled to give a Landon Lecture Tuesday morning at McCain Auditorium, with a news conference to follow.
Vilsack also planned to attend the afternoon dedication of the U.S. Agriculture Department's newly modernized Center for Grain and Animal Health Research near the Kansas State campus.
