Thirty-seven-year-old James Unruh, of Ingalls, owns J.C. Cattle Company, a feed yard in Garden City.
Authorities say Unruh auctioned off cattle that were stolen from various individuals and businesses. He has been accused of keeping the money and buying hundreds of acres of land in Gray County.
His victims lost over $2 million in Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas and Indiana.
Unruh has been indicted on one count of wire fraud and one count of interstate transportation of stolen livestock. He could face a maximum of 25 years in prison.
