The permanent casino is almost complete at the Kansas Star in Mulvane, and part of the building was opened to guests early Wednesday morning..
On December 10th, the casino closed in preparation, and re-opened at 8 a.m. this morning.
In the two days the casino was closed, more than 1,400 slot machines and 35 game tables were moved into the new building.
“This is incredibly exciting,” said Scott Cooper, Kansas Star Casino General Manager. “We’re giving our guests the first look at our new casino.”
Three of Kansas Star's restaurants also opened.
The remainder of the new casino is expected to be complete and open by December 21st..
