Today, Beechcraft Corporation announced their second quarter deliveries are 75 percent higher this year compared to the second quarter of 2012.
In their second quarter this year, Beechcraft delivered 56 commercial and military units verses 32 in the same time period last year. That brings their total number of deliveries to 115 so far this year, compared to 69 in the first half of 2012.
“Beechcraft is progressing through 2013 in a strong position,” said Beechcraft CEO Bill Boisture “While the global economic conditions remain difficult, the value proposition and versatility of our products continue to resonate with customers. In addition, we are seeing positive growth in our Global Customer Support and Global Mission Support businesses, along with good activity in our Defense and Special Mission platforms.”
The company made the announcement during the Experimental Aircraft Association's Air Venture in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
