Kansas Department of Revenue agents and Sedgwick County Sheriffs officers today seized the business assets of four Taco Tico locations owned by Ajax International Group, LLC., which owed $400,546 in state sales tax.

The restaurants, at 505 S. Broadway; 460 N West, 1303 N Tyler, and 125 N. Baltimore Ave., Derby were sealed closed. Seized assets have been turned over the businesses bank which possesses prevailing lien rights.

The Revenue Department's standard practice is to continually encourage delinquent taxpayers, who are not lawfully filing or paying taxes - such as sales or withholding - to voluntarily enter into a repayment agreement.
